WHO IS SNIP COLLIER?

SNIP Collier is a “boots on the ground” 501c3 serving Collier County and its most vulnerable animals. SNIP Collier continues their mission to Spay and Neuter Collier County pets by offering convenient, low-cost options. Since its inception, SNIP Collier has successfully spayed and neutered over 14,000 animals, and their work doesn’t stop there. SNIP Collier is on the ground daily, reporting chained dogs (illegal in Collier County), saving moms with litters, rescuing abandoned and neglected animals, and educating the community on animal welfare. 

You will also see SNIP Collier at local government meetings, fighting tirelessly for stricter laws associated with animal abuse and neglect.

WHAT IS BARK & BUILD?

Bark & Build: The Ultimate Dog House Challenge is a fun and lively fundraising event to benefit SNIP Collier. This year’s event will showcase some of Naples’ top creative talent from the local real estate industry. Nine teams each created a custom dog house, competing for Best in Show and, ultimately, the highest bid. Teams include an architect, builder, interior designer, and real estate agent. Unless pre-sold, these unique dog houses will be sold through a live auction at the SNIP Collier annual gala on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at Tiburón Golf Club. The public can view the dog houses around town at our local sponsors starting January 8th - February 7th, 2025. 

Early bidding is available by going to the 'Auction' page on the website and through a QR code 

on the signage where the builds are displayed.

Tickets to the event are $200 per person, which includes dinner, a cash bar, live music, a silent auction, and raffle prizes.  All proceeds benefit SNIP Collier.

WHY SHOULD YOU GET INVOLVED?

There is more need in our community than you could ever imagine! For the past decade, steadfast supporters, staff, and volunteers have made an incredible difference, and we are only getting started.  Thanks to them and Tom Kepp's passion for animals, SNIP Collier opened a low-cost spay and neuter clinic on Davis Boulevard in 2021 and acquired a full-service mobile clinic in 2023, bringing spay and neuter options to remote locations and lower-income areas throughout Collier County.  SNIP Collier’s vision for the future is to have a full-time presence in Immokalee, which includes transforming an unused county shelter into a vital SNIP Collier resource, making it easier to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home more animals, and educate people on proper animal care. 

The Bark & Build Ultimate Dog House Challenge proceeds will benefit phase one of the Immokalee Campus.
